What is a Seasonal Gathering?
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory there are 5 elements: fire, earth, wood, water, and metal. Each element is associated with its own particular season, emotion, and organ system. Ancient Taoist alchemists based an entire philosophy and healing system on observing these cycles of change in nature. Each element and season brings forth its own alchemy, offering its gifts but also carrying its shadows.
Local
Our seasonal gatherings are curated experiences right here in San Diego, CA. Each season is an opportunity to work with the gifts & life lessons that the element has to teach us.
Community
Our intention is to gather as a community in welcoming the next season of life; just as the seasons change, we too experience various transitions throughout our lives. Let’s celebrate these changes together as we heal in community with the support of others!
Support
Through yoga, breath work, inquiry, sound healing, journaling, creativity & support we access our true nature & let go of what is no longer needed.
Say yes to you!

Spring Equinox Gathering

Come experience the Spring Equinox Gathering where we will be exploring the element of wood through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine while engaging in the tools of Yoga, Sound Healing, Journaling & Creativity by creating your own floral arrangement to take home.
Healthy Snacks, Herbal Tea and Water will be served.
These gatherings are such a powerful and profound invitation to connect to yourself and others through the transformative practices of Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine. We also make sure to have fun and do something creative, such as chanting together using our wind instruments a.k.a. our pranayama (breath control) to make sweet music together, or create something with our hands to take home and cherish, like Brene Brown says, "The way to connect your head to your heart is through the hands."

Yoga is the study of the self (Svadhyāya). Through understanding the self, we are able to better understand and connect to others in our community (sangha).
Hope you can join us on Sunday, 3/16 @ 9:00am - 1:00pm for a morning steeped in self-discovery, connection with others, creation and joy!
