Others have neurological deficits or physical limitations that they think will prevent them from doing a physical activity like yoga. But all you need to do yoga is a body, in any shape or form.

Trauma-Informed Yoga
We've all experienced trauma. Trauma doesn’t just affect the mind; it can also be held in the body. Trauma-informed yoga describes an approach to the practice that addresses the specific needs and symptoms of trauma survivors. Trauma-informed teaching means we assume that all our students have had some kind of trauma in their lives and that we teach in a way that offers a space for healing from trauma.
Yoga Therapy
All yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, but yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools; postures, exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques, and more to address an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional needs. Yoga therapy is a safe way of working with the natural capacity of your body and mind to optimize well-being.
